What post-processing equipment is generally used with screw air compressors?

          Generally, when we only use the screw air compressor, the quality of the compressed air often cannot meet our air consumption requirements, so it will be used together with the compressed air post-processing equipment.  As the complementary equipment of the screw air compressor, the post-processing equipment is also very important in the process of using air.  Today, I will tell you about the post-processing equipment that screw air compressors are generally equipped with.

1. Refrigerated dryer

          The main purpose is to remove the water vapor in the compressed air produced by the screw air compressor. For some users who do not have high gas requirements, only using the refrigerated dryer can meet their gas demand.  Generally, cold dryers can be divided into water-cooled type and air-cooled type. Due to the limitation of its drying principle, the pressure dew point of the cold dryer can only reach 2~10°C.

2. Adsorption dryer

        The adsorption dryer also removes the water vapor in the compressed air produced by the screw air compressor, but the drying and water removal effect of the adsorption dryer will be better.  The principle of drying compressed air is very different from that of the cold dryer. The suction dryer uses its own adsorbent to adsorb the water molecules in the compressed air. The pressure dew point can reach -20°C~-70°C.  It can be divided into heatless regenerative dryers and micro-heat regenerative dryers, and more advanced ones include compression heat regenerative dryers and blast heat regenerative dryers.

3. Precision filter

   The precision filter is generally connected to the back end of the screw air compressor. According to its function, it can be divided into oil removal/dust removal/water removal precision filter. Users can choose and match according to their own air demand.
